How SealCore builds software

Five steps, each ending in something you can click. No months of silence followed by one big handover — that is the fastest way to discover a misunderstanding far too late.

How we work

Five steps, something to look at in every one

No long silent build phase. At every milestone you get a working build to click through and comment on.

  1. 01

    Survey and scope

    Duration: 1–3 days

We sit with the people doing the work daily, write down the real process and agree where the software stops.

  2. 02

    Proposal and fixed quote

    Duration: 2–5 days

Approach, milestones and a fixed price in writing. Anything outside scope is quoted before work starts.

  3. 03

    Design and build in milestones

    Duration: 2–12 weeks

Every two weeks you get a working build to click through. Feedback given early costs far less than changes at handover.

  4. 04

    Pilot and on-site training

    Duration: 3–7 days

We migrate the old data, run in parallel with the current way of working, and train each team at your office.

  5. 05

    Handover and support

    Duration: 12-month warranty

Source code, documentation and admin rights are yours. Twelve months of warranty, and continued support after that if you want it.

Handover

What you hold at the end

This list is a standard contract term, not a paid extra. The reason: if only one firm can modify your system, that firm sets the maintenance price later.

The full source code

In a repository with change history, with admin accounts in the company’s name — not a developer’s personal account.

Documentation to rebuild it

What software, which versions, which configuration variables, and the steps to deploy a new build.

Infrastructure admin rights

Servers, domains, certificates and third-party services — registered under company email from day one.

User guides by job role

A separate guide per role, including the special business rules built into the system.

Backup configuration and restore procedure

Where backups live, how often, how long they are kept — and a restore that has been tested at least once.

12-month warranty

Software defects fixed free throughout, with response times committed by severity.

Cost

How we quote

A fixed package price, split by milestone, sent after the first survey. Anything outside scope is quoted BEFORE the work happens — never accumulated and invoiced at the end.

Price follows the number of business processes to digitise and the number of states data can be in, not the number of screens. A customer list screen and a shift-based payroll screen differ by an order of magnitude in effort, though both are "one screen".

Three items are always broken out separately, because these are the three that quotes usually omit: migrating old data, training, and infrastructure cost after handover.

On your side

What we need from you

A project needs one person on your side with authority to decide and real time to spend — typically 3 to 5 hours a week throughout. That is a genuine cost; budget it from the start. When five departments all comment and nobody can settle it, the project goes in circles, and each circle is another week.

FAQ

What clients ask before signing

Straight answers on cost, timeline, source code and warranty.

What does custom management software cost?

Cost follows the number of business processes being digitised, not the number of screens. A tight system for one department — stock control or order management, say — usually lands in the low tens of millions of VND; a full ERP joining sales, inventory, receivables and reporting costs several times that. After the first survey SealCore sends a fixed package quote broken down by milestone, and anything outside that scope is quoted before work begins.

How long until we can use it?

A single-department system is usually running in pilot within 2–4 weeks. A larger system spanning several departments takes about 2–3 months, but nothing waits until the end: every two weeks you get a working build to click through, and finished parts go into daily use as they land.

You are in Bien Hoa — do you take projects in Ho Chi Minh City?

Yes. Our office is in Bien Hoa, about 30 km from central Ho Chi Minh City, and we still run kickoff meetings, surveys and training at the client’s own office by appointment. We also work across Dong Nai province, Binh Duong and Ba Ria – Vung Tau.

Do we receive the source code at the end?

Yes, as a standard contract term rather than a paid extra. You get the full source, the operations documentation, server admin accounts and the database. Carrying on in-house or handing it to another team is entirely your call.

We already use other software — will we lose our old data?

No. Migration is a line item in the project: we export from the old system, clean the data, load it into the new one and reconcile table by table. Both systems run in parallel at first so you can verify the numbers yourself, and the old one is only switched off once they agree.

Can you add AI to software we already have?

Usually yes, and it is often the cheapest place to start. The most common additions are an assistant that answers questions over internal documents, extraction of invoices and paperwork into structured data, automatic triage of customer requests, and an FAQ chatbot. The one requirement is a way to get data out of the current system — an API, database access, or a scheduled export.

Who fixes bugs after handover?

SealCore warrants the work for 12 months, with software defects fixed free of charge throughout. After that you can renew an annual support agreement or run it yourself, since you already hold the source and the documentation. During working hours (8:00–22:00, Monday to Sunday) we answer by phone and Zalo.

Do you issue VAT invoices and sign contracts?

Yes. SealCore trades as SealCore Technology Co., Ltd., signs full commercial contracts and issues VAT invoices for every project and every software subscription.
